SONG IN TAMIL MOVIE IRUVAR BY AR RAHMAN INSPIRED FROM MEMPHIS STOMP

Iruvar  is a Tamil fictional political film directed and co-written by Mani Ratnam, with music composed by A. R. Rahman released in 1997. AR Rahman’s composing in Tamil movie Iruvar is considered to be a master work form this Oscar Award winner. The film's soundtrack features six songs composed by A. R. Rahman with lyrics written by Vairamuthu. It has songs ranging from pure Carnatic to Tamil folk and jazz.

In this film, Hello Mr. ethirkatchi, is a beautiful song, sung by Harini, and Rajagopal, unfortunately suspected to be inspired from Dave Grusin's Memphis Stomp. The initial Piano play, is almost similar. Hereby sharing those two sound tracks which I got from Youtube, for your reference. Listen to both and if you feel this is true, mail this post to your friends.
